Initial Design
After familiarizing ourselves with your target audience and specific needs, our designers set to work creating the initial artwork for your site. These will just be flat images from which we can easily amend and make any changes, taking the best from each.
Working Code
Once you're happy with the artwork, the site is translated into HTML/CSS. Using all the latest practices, the site is carefully put together to make sure it loads fast, looks correct on a broad range of devices and browsers, and is search engine ready.
Going Live
After a period of testing and approval from yourselves you'll be ready to enter the world wide web. We'll upload everything to your domain, set up your emails and any administration, and you can sit back and enjoy your new site!
redFORGE Workflow
Here at redFORGE design we believe in working with the client, in a manner that fits your needs. It all starts with an initial discussion on design, functionality, budget and timing requirements. We like to meet our clients in person, but are happy to work over phone and email if that’s more convenient.
From the beginning, we look to understand your business; its objectives, products and services. We'll aim to identify your unique product or service selling points, so these may be prominently promoted in marketing your online presence. Then after gathering as much information as we can and gaining a good understanding of what you need to achieve from your web site, we will work as a team to brainstorm ideas.
We will look at how the site should be structured, the information and usability flow through the site, important design features, achieve branding continuity and of course search engine optimisation requirements. On larger projects we’ll feed back at this stage with examples of how we think the user experience should work, before moving onto the design stage.
Once everyone’s happy with the site structure we’ll start making the initial artworks for your site, creating designs unique to you. We look to get several ideas over to you as soon as possible so you can comment on what you like and dislike before heading off to work on a complete realisation of your finish product. Don’t forget were here to make sure you get exactly the site you want, so if your not happy let us know!
After your approval of the designs, we start work to bring them to life. As your web site is developed we will make it available for review on a closed preview area just for you and keep you informed of the development as it progresses.
Lastly when you have passed the site as tested and of the quality you expected; the functionality and user experience assessed as perfect, we can move to the final stage; making the site live!
